What the 'Blog' Area is For

Hi Everyone... just a quick bit of housekeeping.

I'd love for anyone who has extended ideas they'd like to post on to consider doing them here on the 'Blog'.

Some folks like Pam have a Blog already where they can experiment with writing on these ideas, (see her GardinersRight Blog for an idea of what you can create)... but for anyone who'd like to start to use the FOL ideas bouncing around their brains to practice persuasive essays, this area can be that start for you in a friendly environment with people who will read and appreciate your ideas.

So if you have a topic you want to do more than just chat about... some larger point you want to make. Something you may want to say longer than Facebook allows, and then share the link with friends if you are happy with the response here... go for it.

You'll also note that by clicking the 'My Blog' link at the top of this area (below the menus), you can see all of your Blog posts in one area and share that with friends as your 'Blog' if you'd like to.

If you want to post smaller, newsier thoughts, please just put those in the 'Discussion Forum' under any topic that seems right.

If you have your own blog you want us to see, please post the link here so we can keep up and see the ways you are using it.

This is the pamphleteering of the new millennium, and writing well, lively and informative is a dying art that Dr. Brooks has encouraged us to participate in reviving... so I hope this is an area you can use for just that.
